As an African-American who has suffered numerous bouts of mental illness throughout his life, David Rabinowitz has certainly run the gamut of personal struggle. He is also a female-to-male transsexual with observations in his autobiographical collection of poetry, Slingshot: Autobiography and Observations. It is undoubtedly provocative and articulately explores race, sexuality, mental illness, and love that he wrote in the first thirty-one years of his life. Now he is sixty-one years of age.

About the Author

David Rabinowitz is a former physicist and real estate entrepreneur living in Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Penn State University and a Master of Science degree, also in physics, from Temple University. He hopes his collection of poetry will encourage.
